Family
Daniel and I are starved for family attention. We drive for two hours to see an hour and half of family. We had family fly in and lay over for two hours on their way to Paris. Possibly the best part of having access to the airport now a days is that you can meet your "loved ones" at the gate. When Christine walk off the plane, I tackled her with a hug and screamed "Welcome back from Rehab" and she responded with "Thanks it was hard, but Sobriety is for quitters." We did get some uncomfortable looks from others passengers waiting to go to Tampa. But I had always wanted to do that to someone.
We ended up having dinner with them in the International Concourse where my niece was ecstatic to have Panda Express. I think her whole vacation was made just by getting Panda. We ended up having a good time, but they were getting antsy to get going. I couldn't blame them. I told Daniel I wanted to get on the plane with them. He said it was okay as long as I turned around and took the next flight back. It all ended up with a pooped out little baby who quickly fell asleep in Uncle Daniel's arm after riding around the airport on his shoulders. It was a great visit. I hope they have as much fun (or more?) in Paris.

Beautiful Belgium
For Daniel's Spring Break we went to Brussels, Belgium. We decided to go because Daniel finally said where he wanted to go in Europe (we were suppose to go there for our honeymoon, but that plan had to be scraped because of time). So here was our trip in pictures.
We saw a protest for Catalonia. They wanted to break away from Spain (the EU is in Brussels). Daniel "found himself" in their cause.
Manniken Pis. I don't know what his costume is suppose to celebrate.
Frites. They are not just Fries. They are the best tasting fries you will ever taste.
The Atonium. It is shaped as an Iron molecule for the world's fair.
It snowed while we were there! It was suppose to rain the entire time! I only had a raincoat so I was freezing.
Of course we had Belgium Wafles. They were especially good.
We went to Waterloo and climbed 220 steep stairs to see the whole battlefield where the "whole social-political map of Europe changed forever."
View from the top.
Of course there is Chocolate. We even stayed next to the Godiva Factory, but we didn't get to go in.
Here is the Grand Place. The Center of all the action. If you can find this place then you can find most all of the other sites in the city.
