I went over to my Yoga teacher house to make the Thai food that I learn to make in Thailand. We had so much fun. It took five hours, a lot of substituting, and some arguing on Daniel and I part. It ended up being some of the funnest times I have ever had. It also makes me wish I had a larger kitchen with more kitchen gadgets.
We made shrimp salad, Satay chicken, Cashew chicken stir fry, and Sticky rice with mango. A lot of my pictures are of tofu since that is what we did most of our substituting (Yes Jody I will have to come to your house and have a Thai dinner made by us and you can eat it too!) It really worked well which greatly surprised me.

Annual visit
For our new tradition we went to Dragoncon for Labor day. Our favorite part is the parade however it was a lot smaller than last year (pictures to come).
We were able to meet many authors and our favorite was the Canadian author Robert J Sawyer who wrote the novel based on the TV show Flash Forward. We meet another authors Jim Butcher, Laural K Hamilton, and some other best selling authors.
I was excited to see one of the actors from the Vampire Diaries (my total guilty pleasure), learn a little about how they film in Georgia. Daniel thought it was great because we got to see an armory with live weapons which drew every nerd possible from every crevice, but it was really interesting because he showed interesting evolutions of blades as well as some good research tools on different weapons.
