It has started again

So I finally realized what I have been waiting for with baited breath....DOCTOR WHO season 4 will start on Friday. I am stoked because I don't have to wait until fall to see the new series because Sci-fi is showing it two weeks after the BBC. This is awesome because our favorite character is coming back (Daniel is a little wary of it). This is the most exciting news until my best friend Jody shows up to take Atlanta by storm. I know in a week or two I should have some seriously funny stories to tell, until then I guess everyone will have to try to understand the obsession of Doctor Who that I have.

Quiet as a Mouse

So, the Gedge household has been very quite lately. It has consisted up Daniel running around trying to get all of his work done on top of his school work, and feels as if he is coming short. However he seems to make the deadlines, and crashes every Sunday. I on the other had have been flying around trying to keep my house clean, and work on my scrapbook. I am so excited that I'm only a year and half behind! I know that sounds pretty sad to be excited about, but I am working on my wedding album. I am rather impressed with my work. It makes for fond and sappy memories. My newest scheme for it is to have a voice recording of what each one of us thought that day. Sounds ambitious, and I have no idea who would want to listen to it because we don't have any kids who would care, but I love to pass down my mistakes to my invisible posterity. I find it so interesting about other people's life that I think other people would love to hear about my goofy life, oh wait isn't that what blogging is??? Anyways in a few weeks life will start to pick up and the blog will be much more interesting.
PS My raspberry "stick" has leaves on it. I will totally have a picture of it soon once it really has gone insane with leaves.

Spring Time

Lately life has continued in a rather predictable slow pace. I kept trying to think of what we have done lately and I couldn't come up with anything. Then I realized that I was just like my parents; sitting home on a Friday or Saturday watching the latest Sci-fi show. I soon realized that our Saturdays are more like I was growing up than I thought. I remember waking up at 8 am to the lawn mowing sound. I can remember helping my mom plant fruit trees, squash, zucchini, cucumber, strawberries, and pumpkins. What amazes Daniel is that I know the difference between each vegetable and know how to cook it. I did love those Saturdays because of the dew and the sun even though I always complained. Daniel and I have started a garden. I am excited except that I am sure to kill all of the plants. Of course we planted on Saturday, and it was a lot of fun. We planted basil, raspberries, strawberries, tomatoes, cilantro and onions. I hope to have these plants survive since we have expert advice from Daniel's dad. I pretty sure the water ban is still in effect, so we are using lots of shower water to keep these plants alive. I can't wait to have fresh vegetables!
