I should write a post for the month of May. Even if I have gotten out of the blogging business for a bit. I should first say that I did finally signed up for Facebook. My Yoga ladies convinced me plus my most favorite first officer at work was transferring to Dulles. I must say that is not the reason that I am lacking in my blogging because I don't really get Facebook or understand what is so addictive. I am on to try to get gossip, but I don't think that I get it any faster than when I was Facebookless. I am still sticking it out because my favorite Facebook "friends" are my Yoga ladies and my Dulles buddy.

I went to a wedding for my parent's army's daughter. It was so much fun because we got to dance. I LOVE to dance. I never get to dance anymore because now I am an adult. Social dance is no longer done as an acceptable form a interacting with people. I do wish that I have lived a little bit in the past were people always danced when they did things. My two favorite things together music and dance.

March Madness

I took vacation in March. The first week was spent in Virgina and DC. We had Daniel's brother's family "crash" our vacation. It was great because I learn to surf in one of those indoor surf waves. I stayed in a cabin, called house over the pond, in the mountains where there is no cell phone reception. Went into the underground caves of the Northern Appalachians. We went to DC to the natural museum and learned where our common ancestor came from. Our cousin the ape thought that it was pretty kickin' cool too. The best part was that the Butterfly hot house was free that day, so Daniel, my niece, and I got to go in.

We went to Ben Chili which is famous because of all the celebrities that go there including Barack Obama! The food wasn't as good as everyone claimed it to be, but it could have been better had it been made out of fresh ingredients.

We went to the zoo, but it was like going to a University with sports while other Universities are research. Hogle Zoo had more animals then this zoo, and the elephants were depressed and didn't move for the 15 min. we sat there. Daniel and I were bummed because we wanted to see the white tiger, but they didn't have one. One cool thing is we did get to hear the lion roar which I have never really heard before.
Later on in the month for my birthday I wanted to go to the ballet. I saved my Christmas money and birthday money to get really good tickets. I made a new dress from my "project runway" fabric. I made a hair piece that day, and made Daniel get into his suit. We went to the Melt Pot. I hadn't been in a long time and Daniel had never done fondue. He ended up with our friend's opinion of "that is just too much work for your food."

Now you know why I haven't blogged because it has been an effort to get all of my pictures downloaded and then explain. I have just been on Hulu instead of on blogspot.

A Vistor

So my second favorite brother-in-law, David, came out to visit (he is only second 'cause I met him after the first). I was so excited especially because I haven't seen him in over a year. He mostly came out to help Daniel "study" for his physics class. I think most of the weekend was spent killing bad guys in Modern Warfare II. He also played a game called Assassins Creed II which involves a lot of climbing of walls. When we went out for a hike in Sweetwater Creek he was jumping on all of the railings. It was such a beautiful day, and we had so much fun. Daniel got to wear his five finger shoes and have everyone gawk and ask him about them. He loved it.

V-Day

Valentine's Day I had to work, but I came home and gave a stunning effort for a dinner. Unfortunately it was not a totally success, Daniel was sick and couldn't enjoy it to fullest. Oh well I guess I had all the fun since I got to cook a Tilapia fish for the first time. It turned out great. Next thing you know I will be a master chef!

Dead, but not Completely

I know I fell off the face of the planet and I did not get a facebook page which would have been easier to keep track of me, but I have been doing "stuff" in January and didn't have the time or inclination to write about it.

I wanted to write a New Year's resolution, and maybe after a month and half I have finally figured out what it is:
To exercise-- on my trips. Plus I think I will start a yoga class next week too. I am surprised that this is lasting a month so far.

Dos, the thousand dollar Cat, had to go to the Vet that hates cats to find out that he was throwing up, and there was no reason. He ended up laying in his own urine for two days. I was not a happy mommy (nor was there a happy Daddy) when I found out that fact. He is better now without any explanation. However we did get some really pathetic pictures that I haven't gotten from Daniel's phone.
An old college friend is adopting. Well it crossed my mine I could do that, but then looked at my thousand dollar cat and was happy with my adoption.
I visited my best friend from birth, Carly. It was great because she is living in Roanoke, VA and I actually got to visit someone on my layover; work was great that week!

I attempted and succeed to go to Salt Lake over Sundance weekend to get a hair cut and visit my parents. Although we almost slide off the road a few times went to an awesome restaurant in Morgan.Had an awesome Ice Cream Birthday Cake for an awesome Birthday.

Survived crappy weather in Atlanta without killing passengers and getting stressed out. Then a week later did it again, but this time stuck in a hotel in Lexington (much preferred).

So, its been a busy month and half. Hopefully something fun might happen for Valentine's Day.
